Shure UA844+ — Antenna Power Distribution System (1×5)
Shure UA844+ — Antenna Power Distribution System (1×5)

The Shure UA844+ is a 1×5 antenna distribution system that lets up to 4 wireless microphone receivers share a single pair of antennas while distributing 12V DC power to each receiver — the standard version of Shure's antenna distribution platform (compare to the SWB "super-wideband" version for the widest frequency coverage).
Why antenna distribution matters in multi-channel wireless setups: Without distribution, 4 wireless receivers = 8 separate antennas hanging off the back of the rack. Each receiver competes for RF, wiring is messy, and antenna placement is compromised. With the UA844+, one pair of antennas (typically directional UA874s aimed at the stage) feeds all 4 receivers through this distribution unit. Cleaner installation, better RF performance, less interference, and all powered receivers from a single AC outlet.
Specifications:
- 1×5 BNC active antenna distribution
- Cascade input for daisy-chaining additional UA844+ units (up to 16 receivers total)
- 12V DC power distribution to 4 connected Shure receivers
- Single-rack-space form factor
- Active RF amplification compensates for antenna cable loss
- Compatible with Shure ULX-D, QLX-D, SLX-D, BLX, GLX-D, PSM in-ear, and Axient Digital systems
Note: The UA844+SWB version has wider frequency coverage (470–1000 MHz) for venues operating across multiple frequency bands or in locations where the wireless spectrum is contested. Standard UA844+ is sufficient for most single-band installations.
Ideal for: Venues running 4+ Shure wireless channels in a single frequency band, AV integrators specifying multi-channel wireless infrastructure, theaters, conference centers, and houses of worship.
